Wow... its been quite some time since i blog ya... Too many things happen at home.. such that i did not really have the mood to blog lately... but i guess i should not let my blog die off like this... so must keep going.. keep blogging...
Well, this tiger year was not a very good start for me.. in fact ... quite a shitty start for me.. so many problems but i dun wanna talk about it here in my blog... its over... pointless. I think lets just look forward and positive and forget about the past... As what my manager used to tell me... "lets move forward"... Indeed i should. I still have quite a few issues in front of me to settle and so I guess i will just have to take them one step at a time.
Hmmmm..... how to look forward or positive when you know you are heading into some thunderstorm or problems. Well.. what i always do is to see problems as challenges... never tell yourself that you are facing a problem.. but rather.... tell yourself that you are facing a challenge... and with challenges.. comes solutions. The word "problem" can just sometimes be too demoralizing.. so i rather see them as challenges. Thats one way to think positive...
New year was quite a bad start for me.... i lost 3 ships in my bedroom to some dreadful accidents that i dun really wanna discuss here.. its dreadful enough liao... also I got into a minor car accident that cost me 800 buckeroos to repair bcoz I did not wanna claim my car insurance.. sigh... next.. my colleague is leaving the company this coming Friday and this week is going to be quite a busy week for me.. there is going to be alot of handover and even more projects to follow through... oh dear... may the good Lord grant me wisdom in the face of all these challenges...
The loss of my 3 ships... namely the Yamato, the King George V and Cutty Sark has taken a toll on my morale to contnue building more ships... took me quite sometime to reorganise my naval construction facility and I am glad to say now I am back to rebuilding my next ship which is the USS New Jersey.... Very beautiful ship... I took alot of pains to paint and assemble the ship but now its only about 60% completed... I will take a snap shot of it when its done...
Haizz.... dun feel like blogging much today... so i guess thats that for today... I hope to punch in something more interesting on my next blog.. so see ya soon
Ciao.... yup.. today got pics to show... lol

Year of the Tiger
Its the Year of the Tiger. Happy Prosperous New Year to everyone out there. May your career and love life roar as loud as the tiger!!!
Ok.. This Chinese New Year will really be a time for me to relax abit as I took leave for the next three days after the 2nd day of CNY. So basically I am on leave all the way for one whole week.
Friday went down to St James Power Station to chill with some of my colleagues. First time I am there... Quite a nice place to chill actually. The ambiance was quite cosy and I like the place where we chose to sit... The swing area.. haha.. Basically I was swinging and rocking all the way from the start till the end... spilling a cup of Tiger beer onto the floor and making my colleague complain about dizziness... haha... But its fun. Really nice place to chill and talk cock about work and poking fun at others.. so damn funny... Well, tat day at St James.. managed to catch sight of a white Lamborghini LP560-4 driving past me as we waited to cross over at the traffic junction to St James...It was speeding its way into Sentosa... Nice sia... Looks like that driver is a resident in Sentosa Cove..
Come Saturday...Its was CNY's eve... Time to have reunion dinner with family... We had steam boat.... but although there was a spread on the table... i did not really enjoyed the dinner... only ate abit here and there.. Well.. I was not very happy with my father as I just had war with him a couple of days earlier... Me and him.. we will never click... He is always finding fault with me and I am always not respecting him... yup.. no point.. Even my mother knows this... Its quite hard to stay with someone that always wanna find fault with you.. So basically.. WE DUN TALK TO EACH OTHER... Thats why I did not enjoy this year's reunion dinner... Until the day he knows how to define peace and tame his bloody mouth that is always ranting words to hurt ppl's feelings..... I see no way of patching up.. The cold war will just go on for all I care..
Well, for my new year.. really nth much.. just another long weekend holidays for me... I had started the construction of the Russian Carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov".. I am quite disappointed with the quality of the mold actually... had a very very hard time trying to assemble the 700 plus pieces together... Buy the time I am writing this blog.. i am only about half done with the assembly.. Initially I almost wanted to give up on this model... Most parts dun fit snugly leaving so many gaps here and there...There was so much difficulty in attaching the flight deck to the hull and the entire process was simply atrociously time consuming... I had to basically use masking tape to tap to parts together just to hold them in place for the glue to set... The construction of the bridge was terrible also.. so many small parts... I must say this is the hardest model i ever assemble to date...
Well at least my ytd nite.. I managed to got the flight deck and the hull fully up... Now I am already doing up the bridge... This part will be very time consuming.. But I must say.. Trumpeter molding details for the model very precise... thats why so many small parts even though some of the parts to fit in nicely.. sigh..
Anyway.. I also just learnt that building ships are the most difficult compared to building planes and tanks or what have you... The parts will easily come in hundreds of pieces... Admiral Kuznetsov itself is already 700 pieces altogether... wow...anyway its enjoyable... Imagine from those few hundred pieces into one big ship...Thats the satisfaction i get when i see all the small parts become one big model....
Here are some of the pics..

And this is the bridge... still alot alot of small parts not up yet.. At this stage as you can see in the picture... its only about 30% completed.. the small pieces are the killer..

Ok.. tats that for today... need to continue with the bridge construction...
Tonight 1130pm got the movie... 100 pound beauty.. korean movie.. very funny.. i will be watching it... Maria... ave Maria!!!
Ciao..

Sleepy day...
I was quite tired or rather sleepy at work today, especially after having taken my lunch. Maybe i ate too much such that my brain just went into the drowsy state while I was driving around. Dun know why... SO many things happen at work today.. actually not really many things la... just one big issue got blown up in office... it was quite a big one and by evening, I was told that it had became quite a BIG HOO HAA... Nah.. I dun wanna comment or blog much about it since its a by product of some political tensions in my office. AS you know.. I am not a big fan of office politics. Do you know how planes get to their destination safely most of the time?? They have this thing known as a weather radar that will map out on the display screen areas with bad weather conditions.. So what pilots do is fly around it and not fly into it.... I hope to have this weather radar fitted. I dun wanna fly into these thunderstorm situations again man... Just hope that the issue will settle down soon.. May peace reign again soon.
By the time I finish my work at 5pm plus, I was already very tired.. Wanted to go home but too early liao... dun know what to do at home.. SO I decide to ask my friend out for dinner and movie. We headed on down to Tampines Mall for our dinner first then followed by movie at 1910hrs... I wanted to catch a movie bcoz I just needed a place to rest comfortably and relax.. so catching a movie was the best... at least they have comfy seats for me to lay back and relax..
We decided to dine at DTF (Din Tai Fung)... Hmmmm.. very good experience indeed... WE ordered XLBs (xiao long boa) and some other stuff and took our own sweet time to enjoy our meal as we had a space of 1 hr before the movie starts...
I must say that all my dining experience at DTF has always been a good one. ESp today... haha.. WE ordered a set of 10 XLBs.. but when they were served... we were told that one of the XLBs was not to quality and the "zhup" (juice) inside had already leaked away due to a hole in that XLB skin... Well.. i was ok with it anyway but the waiter took the initiative to give us one more XLB since one of them was not in good condition.. yes.. its not a one to one exchange .. its ONE MORE XLB for us to enjoy..
The funny thing is .. when that replacement XLB came... wow man.. its was served alone in that big bamboo container.... like tat below...

Wow!!! Initially i tot they are just going to serve that ONE XLB in a small plate or wat,... but instead, it was served like how they will serve a set of 10 XLBs... I was so stunned that i just wanted to take a pic and show you guys... Indeed, their professionalism is commendable and they do take pride in dishing out their XLBs since it is DTF's signature dish... hmmmm.... I must say that until today.. I have clocked no bad dining experience at any of DTF's outlets here in Singapore.. The service and attention of the staff is really good...
Next was movie.. We went to watch 14 blades, a chinese movie with Donnie Yen as the main cast.. As I said earlier on.. i just wanted to rest.. but i was so absorbed in the movie that my eyes were wide open... its really a good movie and the fighting, the stunts and effect is really good...
Reach home at about 2230 hrs... bath and managed to do up some areas of my Russian carrier... Put some putty and sand them down to fill all the holes and gaps .. attached some other parts also.. still I am just taking the construction at a snail slow pace... In fact .. nth to do.. so just build a bit for fun before I rest for the day...
Ok finally.. tmr is Friday liao... really looking forward to my super long CNY holiday bcoz i apply leave next wed to fri.. but shit... my manager not approved yet sia.. tmr die die must ask her to approve liao... Haiz.. in fact.. today i already switch off liao... i believe most of us also switch off in view of CNY... SOme comapny out there even better still.. they already closed since ytd... wa lau.. so good ar?? no need to work is it?? And the sad thing is... my company dun even have half day tmr... haiz.. but its ok... long weekend ahead.. "Tong" a while more...
ok i tell u what....i am really bushed up now man.. gotta go sleep now... cannot hold out much longer..
I am gone with the wind....................... ......

We are CODE RED!!!
Work has not been smooth and plain sailing recently. My company seems to be in a midst of a massive manpower and organization restructuring this starting of the year and I do hope that it will be of a good cause .. beneficial to both the company and the workers... Well, I am still not aware of what the concrete plans that will be laid down and looks like announcement on this great plan is due soon... Lets look forward to it.. However the most important thing is our bonus in March and our pay increment in April... These two issues will be on the top of everybody's mind right now even as we prepare to head into the year of the tiger in days to come...
Even as my company is doing her best to reorganize, it is with utmost regret that my team has fallen prey to every company's most defiant enemy..... RESIGNATION.. By 1745 hrs today, i was given the word through sms that my dear colleague has resigned from his post. His last day will be on the 9th March next month..
Well in fact, his resignation will definitely throw my manager of her seat and maybe out of her office window I guess... wahahaha.... Just as we are struggling and coping with the loss of our previous colleague who tendered her resignation last october.. we have now lost another one. As you know.. my team is already so lean... and unless we can find another replacement in time.. we will be reduced to skin and bones... It means I will have alot alot more things to follow up on, more tender interviews to attend and tender quotations to submit.... more of everything i am doing now.. oh dear.. May the Lord have mercy on our poor souls..I repeat... We are in CODE RED... CODE RED!!!!
People leaving the company for greener pastures outside is just part and parcel of our working life i guess.. we just gotta learn to cope with it and move on.. Over the last couple of months.. I have seen so many people leaving the company and sending out so many farewell emails.. oh dear.... Our manpower seems to be dropping like flies man... I wonder if the recruitment is able to match the rate at which we are loosing ppl... and the worst is.. some of these people have wealth of experience and knowledge behind them.... Loosing them to other companies especially our competitors will not put us at a good position in the market...
Well... what to do?? Life goes on and we just continue to work.. the most important thing is getting our pay on time everytime... For me... I will have to stay till at least 20th August this year in order to clock my 2 years experience in an MNC.. Something that will look good in your resume next time... of course.. i do hope to stay as long as I can but i shall see how it goes.... To me... I dun believe in working for others all my life... I want to start and run a business myself or with friends... I am still searching for this right opportunity.. well... currently i do have one but i am unable to focus on it due to my busy schedule at work and conflict of interest... haiz..... but this does not mean i am giving up....
Anyway.. thats all i wanna share today...whatever happens.. lets just move on. I believe things will turn out better at the end of the day.
Haha.. i just started the assembly of my new Russian Carrier.. the Admiral Kuznetsov... managed to get the hull up even though the parts did not fit in nicely at first... Here's a pic to show you...

She is also quite massive in size... Once completed.. She will be comparable in size to that of the USS Enterprise... However.. I am taking the construction of this Russian carrier at a slow and relax pace... This is just the beginning... I managed to smuggle this ship home at nite when my parents are already sound asleep... haha...
Ok... Gotta go sleep now.. Tmr is thurs liao.... Starting to switch off soon for CNY long weekend.... Will be back tmr... Ciao for now...

Hallelujah Hallelujah... Amen!!!

Recently, I have changed my photo in my facebook and msn picture to the portrait above. Well.. its just a painting. The funny thing is.. I believe quite a number of ppl are not adding me in facebook bcoz they dun know who the hell this guy is... haha.. i understand.. those that added me are those that really know my full name or when i tell them to do so... then they will say "orhhh... thats you ar??"...
The picture above is George II of England. He was the King of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg (Hanover) and Archtreasurer and Prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire. So many prestigious title... but i only know he is King of England. Thats all we need to know.. no need to go so much into the details.
The coronation of George II was dated 11 October 1727 (aged 43, and he reign as King till his death in 25 October 1760. His reign lasted 33 yrs. George II was the last British monarch to have been born outside Great Britain, and was famous for his numerous conflicts with his father and, subsequently, with his son. Maybe thats why the thrown went over to the grandson instead.... lol... I think so...
George II possessed three passions: the army, music and his wife. He was exceptionally brave and has the distinction of being the last British sovereign to command troops in the field (at Dettingen against the French in 1743)

The above depics George II (the rider in the middle) at the Battle of Dettingen. As said earlier on, this battle was the last time that a British monarch personally led his troops into battle. The British forces, in alliance with those of Hanover and Hesse, defeated a French army under the duc de Noailles although France and Britain had not yet declared war. In my own opinion, having the King himself leading an army into a battle is something i respect alot. Bcoz the whole army or even nation will fall if the King is killed in battle or taken prisoner by the enemy.

Ok, the coronation of George II in 1727 saw the baroque composer, George Frideric Handel (above pic) being commissioned to write four anthems for the coronation ceremony of King George II. They are
1) Zadok the Priest
2) Let thy Hand be strengthened
3) The King Shall Rejoice
4) My Heart is Inditing
The first anthem "Zadok the Priest" has been played at every British coronation ceremony and personally its one of my favourites too including "My Heart in Inditing". The lyrics for all these anthems are rather repetitive with only a few words.. Most of the lyrics are in fact taken from verses in the bible.. for e.g
Zadok the Priest
After 1 Kings 1:38–40
Zadok the Priest, and Nathan the Prophet anointed Solomon King.
And all the people rejoic'd, and said:
God save the King! Long live the King!
May the King live for ever,
Amen, Allelujah.
Well for me, I have been blasting this song in my car quite often and I called it the Allelujah Amen song... haha.. Bcoz if you were to listen to it... there is really alot of Allelujah and Amen words in the lyrics... Here below is a very good quality youtube link to this anthem...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG2UMO6rZd4
This piece is very majestic and it just makes a perfect piece for the coronation of a King.. In fact, "Zadok the Priest" is the only coronation anthem to endure the last three centuries. It is traditionally performed during the sovereign's anointing. So far this is the best version I can find on youtube.. trying so hard to find the album at Heeren but no stock... Haiz...
Well today.. did not have much time to do my ships... went out for dinner with a friend after work.. got home about close to 10pm... so just decided to blog before I end my day...
Hmmmm.... the word has come to me that a civil or rather management political war is going on between 2 of my managers in my companies... and Guess what... I dun even know about it until I was informed by my colleague today in MSN.. Wow... Got war going on meh??? How come I dun know sia... things have been rather calm and peaceful lately.. little did i know of this political tension going on... Sometimes I am rather slow to notice such office politics until I was told by others.. maybe i am quite a peace loving creature.. I dislike wars and tensions and I try my best to stay out of such skirmishes in office.... Personally, I dun like to take sides bcoz as I just told my colleague.. taking sides in office politics can be very tiring.. and if you are not careful in protecting ur own ass... the tide of war might turn against you... SO.. I like to stay neutral.. stay clear of storm clouds...
However... office politics are sometimes unavoidable... i have even seen this in my previous company... wa lau.. only about 7 ppl nia.. can also got politics involve sia... basket... this one side with this one.. this one dun like tat one.. tat one backstab this one... WTF.. Pls....
Well i believe, there will be office politics as long as humans are the ones in office... Look at all those robots in the assembly line... i dun see them having production line politics.... one robot breakdown.. the rest still work to produce.. they dun complain.. they dun say things like.. "wah lau.. always breakdown so often.. then we need to produce harder to maintain same output...."
I was once told tat humans are the most complicated things on earth.. just bcoz we have emotions in us... Its complicated.. emotions... pride... ego.... and what have you... I suppose all these contributes to why there are so many politicians in office today... You find them everywhere.. not only in parliament. And some of them are even hardcore ones.. they play politics so well in office that you gotta take your hats off them... you better not step on the tails of these super politicians in office.. they are not to be trifled with i tell you.
In short, the best solution is to stay neutral. Work is work, play is play.. yes.. you can argue over work from 8-5.. but after 5pm.. its wise that we put work issues aside and play... dun mix them together. Make friends not enemies.. be nice to ppl... they will do the same.. maybe except for some dumb ass.. but on the whole.. humans are quite nice to deal with la....
Ok.. tats all i wanna share for today... Tmr wed liao.. so fast.. soon will be CNY liao.. so look forward ya...
Ciao....

Mini Flankers
By 0047 hrs this morning... i managed to complete the 6 Su-33.... Took me really a few hours to assemble them... Doing assembly at night not really recommended due to insufficient light... more so if you are painting as you will tend to miss out some areas and only discovered them the next morning when you continue....

Day time with natural light is always the best condition to assemble models for me... no need to strain your eyes like hell...
For now.. the 90% completed USS Enterprise will serve as a holding platform for these russian birds... Bcoz their mother ship is still unassembled in a box inside my car... So they will nestle somewhere else for the time being.. In real life.. I have not seen russian carrier planes on American carriers.... but this time bo pian... Wait till the Russian Kuznetsov is up.. then I will transfer them to their rightful abode...

I will have to wait till after Chinese New Year to get the rest of the planes for the Russian carrier as the stock will only arrive then. The Russian Department of Defence has confirmed its firm orders for an additional bulk purchase of 30 Su-33 Sea Flankers. Delivery will start after Chinese New Year...
Ok.. Thats that for today...
See you guys tmr... Ciao..

Work Work... Job's Done.... Yes me Lord??
DO you play War craft? If yes... then you will find my heading familiar. Orcs... Yes for those who are working your ass off at work everyday... We are just like the Orcs in Warcraft... Work Work... Job's done... Yes me Lord?? More work?? We just keep working and working. I wonder how many of us out there feels a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment at work frankly. Yes maybe for the start... Just join company.. everything so new.. so many things to learn.. wow.. So enthusiastic and adrenaline rush. Then as months or years go by... your experience starts plateauing. everyday facing same old thing if not more shit to follow up... Thats when we start to " work work.. jobs done.. yes me lord ".. hahaha... correct... even though i am going only about 1.5 yrs with my present company.. I am starting to feel like an orc now...Nvm la.. just look forward to pay day.. bonus.. etc..
One tip to get your working life more exciting... how? Look into the calender and check out all the public holidays for the following mth or so... Its a good bet that some of the holidays will give you long weekends.. haha.. i always do that.. At least something to look forward to next mth...
Well another good tip to make your working week go faster is this.... try to plan something in the week that you like to do and some appt with frens or wat. As you start your working day on Monday.. Look forward to them.. For e.g... Tue got frens birthday party.. Thurs got celebrating your gf/bf birthday after work.. Fri on leave!!... this is just an example.... it can be anything u enjoy doing...I tell you your week will go very fast bcoz you keep looking ahead in the week to all these activities... Try it..
Today my day was quite pack... Need to redo and reprint and re chop all the tender documents and submit them by 12pm at Suntec area. Thank God I manage to get the lab top from my colleague.. Today just pluck in all the prices and print them out.. then edit abit here and there... then can submit liao. Everything done by about 10.30am.. Well with that, I was able to squeeze some time out to have tea break with my another colleague before I set off to submit the tender... and I hope I dun get this job.
YOu know this consultant ar... sibei jialat one.. from the way he talk. can feel that he dun wan us to get this job... so rude... then ok lor.. why still invite us go for tender??.. in the first place dun invite la.. invite liao.. quote liao.. now find so many trouble... aiyo.. next time dun invite lor.. simple..
Ok I manage to submit the tender by 1145am at the client's office... since it is so near to Marina Square.. I actually pop by Miniature hobby a while to buy the "Admiral Kuznetsov".. Haha.. yea.. finally its the next ship in my arsenal to be built...I will tell you more details on this model at a later time in my blog i guess....
After submission of tender... went back to office to settle sth then I am out again to rush for 2 presing appt.. one designer at Holland Village and the other at Ong & Ong Architects to submit a sample board... Then after that go back to office to help my colleague who is on leave to submit products pictures to designer via email..
Tmr still got a few more errands to run... Running like mad everyday.. THings really get very breathless if any of my team mates go on extended leave like 3 days or more... You will have to help him do his work while completing yours also.. Thats why i hope my manager will employ another one soon..
Got home by about 5.45pm today... Lock myself in the room and started to assemble the new little planes that comes together with "Admiral Kuznetsov" ... I dun believe it man.. these planes although small but are so detailed.. much better than the ones from Tamiya.. It took me almost 2 hours to assemble just THREE Su-33 Sea Flankers... Russian Carrier planes.. As I am building them.. I have decided that Admiral Kuznetsov will be constructed as a dedicated Su-33 Sea Flanker carrier.. The package inside only gave me 6 of these planes... so i will have to get them separately liao...
The Sukhoi Su-33 Sea Flankers...
This aircraft i think.. very sexy..
I have plans to built 36 of these Su-33 to put on the deck of Admiral Kuznetsov... SO its gonna be a very tedious and long winded repetition assembly process... imagine... 3 aircraft already tok me close to 2 hrs to assemble... I will talk more about this carrier in my future blog... abit different from the American carriers... something unique on the aircraft launch technique... Thus.. the link between Su-33 and Kuznetsov....
Ok.. Thats that for now.. For my next blog.... I think i will talk about king George II of England.. and the coronation Anthem.. a touch of history... haha.
Now back to my Su-33 Flankers.... Ciao!!

Little planes

I slept 5am last night or rather this morning... Guess what.. I was building the little planes to place them on the carrier deck.. Having built an aircraft carrier model but with no planes on her deck will look very wierd... So I decided to spent a little more time to built some planes so as to make her look busy and occupied as a carrier...

In the pic.. you can find F-14 Tomcats, F/A-18 Hornets, E-2C Hawkeye, F-4 Phantom, EA-6B Prowlers and also S-3 Vikings.. quite a good mix of aircraft on the deck...
However.. all these aircraft are still not painted and decalled yet as you can see... So I should be spending my next weekend to complete them and its not going to be easy man... so many planes.. plus I still need to finish off with some parts of the ships like decaling the bridge, the deck and also painting the propellers to a nice golden bronze.
You know.. for me.. building ships can really keep me calm and composed and it takes away all the stress in me.. whatever they are.. When I sit down on my table and start the assembly..I will really need 100% focus and dedication to the construction. The painting of those minute details will really require ur focus and patience... As such.. I will have no time to think of any other things... and its a good time killer esp if you are quite bored.. But i dun do models bcoz i wanna kill time... i do it for the pure sake of hobby and interest... Thats me :)
Haiz... weekend is gone just like that... Just merely 2 days of rest and building my ships and its back to work tmr liao.. Come Monday.. i am really gonna have alot of things to do.. my colleague is on leave till wed and i will have to rush for the 3rd re-tender quotation for a high end condo project @ Anguila Park...
Basket.. this condo only 50 plus units and the contract value is about 300k plus nia... need to do redo the tender for 3 times.. I dun believe it... Seems like the consultant giving us a hard time.. wan this wan that.. somemore say we are trying to cheat.. Haiyo... I rather loose this job man... Sometimes getting more projects may not be a good thing after all, well, it definitely can help to secure your job in the company if you can clinch alot of projects... BUT the catch is... you will have more shit to follow thru and you got no commission.. thats the worst..
I guess in a sales job.. its really about figures and rewards... Figures to report to company and what rewards you get from the company... But come to think of rewards... what rewards do i have?? not a single cent of commission and I guess bonus this year is rather conservative... haiz.. working my ass off everyday...Sometimes wanna take MC also very hard..so many things to do and follow up... I hope that my manager will employ at least one more sales guy to help us. My team is really grossly under manpowered.
Haha.. if you read my last post... you will know that I am contemplating on the idea of building the Russian Carrier Admiral Kuznetsov... Well, i just called up Miniature Hobbies at Marina Square.. yeah.. got stock but only one piece left.. Price is S$195.70 after member discount.. ok not bad... less than SGD200.. so I think i will go ahead with the purchase liao... yes!!! The next thing is.. where to put her after she is commissioned.. Haiz.. maybe need to go IKEA to shop for a DIY wall shelf.. thats the only thing I can think of now... Bcoz like the USS Enterprise.. Its also about 1 metre long... Never mind.. buy first.. plan later.. wahahaha...
ok I am going back to build more planes now...I think i need to add some more tow trucks on the deck.. hmmm... lets do it...
Ciao for now....

The King Shall Rejoice....

OK.. for those of you who are thinking about why I put this photo as my msn or facebook logo... very simple... Its bcoz i like his pose and also how majestically he is being dressed up which I believe was for his Coronation as King of England.
This is George III of England. I really like the way he poses for his "paint shot"... I believe those days... no cameras were invented yet... So no such thing as photo shoot... haha... But his pose is graceful and majestic.. even though he seems to be wearing berms.. but i guess thats the style during those days in England.
His reign was from 1760 to 1820... that is 60 years as King of England. Its not easy to reign as king for 60 yrs i believe... The British Monarchy has indeed come a long long way. Those days its either u get depose for political reasons, executed for some reasons like Charles I or maybe die of illness.... Able to rule England for 60 yrs as King is worth a great compliment and respect from the people.
Well, the funny thing is.... George III was famous for 2 things during his reign
1) Loosing the American Revolutionary War leading to the establishment of United States of America
2) Going crazy during his old age..
Ok for Singaporeans... if you wish to add.... you can also say that Singapore was founded during his reign by Sir Stamford Raffles... haha...
However, i would like to share one video with you guys..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIdsmniLXqU
This piece is written by William Boyce for the coronation and wedding of George III. Its very grand and personally i hope to use it as my wedding song for the bride to walk in... Instead of always hearing the common wedding march or Pachabel Canon... I think this piece by William Boyce will make a splendid exception for a wedding.... since its originally written for the wedding for a King.
You can only use the tune from 00:00 to 03:50.... bcoz its the most suitable part for the bride to walk in all the way till the front... but its gonna be a slow and lengthy walk... haha.. imagine almost 4 mins... For those of your who share the same sentiment as me.. i believe you will know why i think this piece will make a splendid wedding walk in for the bride... Lets do something different next time man....
The Naval Fleet
Ok... It is my pleasure to showcase my fleet of naval vessels to you guys.. esp those that are into miniature modeling.... Well its not that fantastic in numbers as my collection is rather small at this time as I do not have enough space in my room to erect a harbour for more ships....
Here they are in 350 Scale... Starting from the left with a displacement of 65 000 tons... the IJN Yamato... Followed by the 35 000 tons Richelieu of the French Navy.... Next is the German Tirpitz at 43 000 tons displacement....Then the USS Alabama, IJN Kongo, Royal Navy's King George V..... The USS Arleigh Burke stands next but may seem a little wierd in this collection as she is a modern vessel...Then followed by the famous USS DDG 445 Fletcher
Most of the ships in the arsenal are WWII.. aecept maybe for the USS Arleigh Burke and the upcoming USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier to be launched quite soon...
Here are other of my pics....

Well... basically as you can see...Some of the ships like the Yamato were not completely painted as she was built like almost 2 yrs back. The rest I can say... are quite recent..
Here's a sneak preview of my next ship to be launched...
Behold the USS Enterprise.... aka .. The Big E.... Well... its not really completed yet as I have not completed painting and decaling the ship (even tho it seems quite complete liao)....
She is the biggest and heaviest model that I have constructed... and she took me almost 4 weeks to assemble and paint to where she is right now... Phew.... The Big E project.

Well the goods news is... she will be ready to be launched and commissioned by Chinese New Year!!! An auspicious time to launch a carrier!!.. And from there she will sail with the rest of the fleet.. in my room that is... lol..
After her... I will have 2 more ships to be built... i.e the USS New Jersey (Modern) and USS Missouri (WWII)... This will bring my total collection to ... 11 ships... hmmm.. not bad...
I am still looking at other brands... contemplating to built another Russian carrier... The Admiral Kuznetsov... see below... she is also another big one... here's the real pic....
Hmmm.. but should I go ahead with this next "big" project.. Bcoz I am quite sure I will get hell from my parents bcoz they are already quite unhappy with me building so many ships.. plus no space liao.. How sia?? To carry on or defer this purchase.. not cheap somemore... 200 plus... plus all the paint and cement??....
Anyway... I will complete the other 2 ships first before deciding....
Hope you enjoyed my collection.... I am still striving to improve my modeling skills.. there is still really alot for me to learn....
Ok I am going to meet a fren at Changi V to LKP liao..
Stay tuned for the launch of USS Enterprise at CNN real soon....
Ciao for now....

The start of blogging.
Today is the first time i am creating an account to blog my life out on the internet... However.. some facts will remain kept in top secret under the highest security act.
I cannot believe that i am actually blogging.. .. nevertheless.. i hope its going to fun and entertaining during my free time and when i feel the need to blog some shit down ... I am still learning how to blog or maybe set up something interesting on my blog.. Still got a long way to go... lol
OK.... My blog name is Musashimiura... What does it mean? For those who want to know...
MUSASHI = Name of a Japanese samurai
MIURA = A past lamborghini model
So... its a Japo italiano name for my blog.. named after my interest.... lol.. Great...
Just a short intro of myself... my real name is Jerry and I have already hit 30 yrs in age and wisdom.. not so young but ok la... still young in the eyes of senior citizens.. wahahaha...
I enjoy company of my good friends... favourite hang out place is usually Changi V or airport... I enjoy La kopi with friends esp at nite... so Changi V is usually the place for me to LKP. But the fact is... I live in the western part of Jurong west extension.. so its actually a few light years away from Changi... so bo pian... need to waste petrol since my hang out place is usually at the Eastern lair....
I am into sports cars like Ferrari and lamborghini.. aston martin.... my eyes are always on the look out for them when i am driving... I do hope to get one in the near future... and I want it so badly.... ok.. thats that for my interest in luxury sports car.
My next interest in flight simulation. I enjoy flying even though i dun have a flying license.. well at least I spent almost 2 years learning flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator.. very realistic... and this is one thing i am quite proud of ...anyone out there interested in flying and simulation... can always come chat with me... We'll have a long and great way to talk and fly.... lol...
Ok.. recently... i have regained my interest in rebuilding my fleet of 350 scale battleships.. a hobby that i started and abandoned a few years back... now I am reviving my naval construction facility and I have spent quite an amount to revive this facility ... so you can expect my next few blogs to talk about building ships....
Ok ... thats that for my first page in my blog... hope to find readers and stay tuned for more updates... i need to learn how to upload pictures here....
Yup... Ciao!!!!!
