Giant Tablets

Hello there... How are you people? Long time no hear from me... my hibernation period has been quite a while since I last blog.. haha...

Behold our motherland's most recent achievement at Marina Bay.... The Marina Bay Sands.... Indeed these 3 hotel towers at Marina Bay is a magnificent sight to behold... Grand and magnificent in splendour.. I took the opportunity today to leisurely drive pass Bayfront Avenue and that was where i took this photo with my E71 Nokia... I wun say its a very nice shot bcoz its being clipped away at the bottom and the top... But I have no choice bcoz I was just almost below the 3 giant towers lor.... Want to zoom out also cannot liao.... haha... But its really nice.

Even thought the construction is not fully completed yet with only the hotel, casino and a part of the shopping mall opened... the area is already filled with so many people walking to and from the Bayfront Bridge... The recently opened (Helix Bridge) linking Marina Square area to Marina Bay Sands.... In fact.. I have been observing the construction of the MBS everytime I drove along ECP Benjamin Sheares Bridge.. From the initial days where there were so many crawler cranes preparing the site foundation.. followed by the erection of the numerous tower cranes and finally with the 3 hotel towers creeping up slowly in the sky.. level by level.. then finally the construction of the Sky Garden at the top linking the 3 towers together... hmmmmm... construction has never been easy i suppose... I believe that at the time of her construction, it could be the only site in Singapore that is working 24/7... unbelievable.. and finally it has taken shape after so much hard work... in my humble opinion... i think the 3 majestic hotel towers represents the pride of Marina Bay area... haha..

Recently i went to watch IP Man 2... damn nice sia... Yong Chun Quan... This is the first time i heard of this kungfu and i am really amazed by its technique... Its actually a close combat kungfu.. I think many Singaporeans has already watch this movie by now.... So I went to buy Part one of Ip Man to watch.. wow.. splendid.. the fighting is really great.... You can defend and yet be offensive... I know of a place in Singapore where they teach Yong Chun Quan... at 95A Lavender Street.. hmmmmm.. should I go take up and learn.... Maybe given my size.. i think I should sign up and pick up the skill also.... well.. not to beat up people that I dun like.. but rather to keep in good health and shape.. however.... I can still beat up people i dislike should they really really step on my fat tail... wahahaha.... but I guess thats the last thing i wanna do la.... bcoz i am quite soft hearted one.... just like Ip Man.. haha...

I saw an interview at Youtube... its an interview with Ip Chun... I forgot already but I think he is the eldest son of Ip Man... He was saying " If people take up Yong Chun Quan thinking that they can take on 9 or 10 people at one time.. then I guess... Yong Chun Quan will not be pass on for generations.. but if people take up this Kungfu to keep healthy and fit.. then there is a long future for Yong Chun Quan..." Well.. I think what he says is very true... Violence is never a solution.. Indeed chinese kungfu.. even though powerful but they are never used for violence.. I believe all great kungfu master or Sifu knows this well......

Anyway... i really wanna take up and learn.. i think its very interesting to see them sparring with Wooden dummies.... the technique used is really very unique... haha....

ok.. got to go ... blogging soon again.. but lets see what my next topic will be... haha...

Ciao for now....
